Lay Leadership


The MLC represents and serves the owners of the congregation who are the voting members. The purpose of the MLC is to serve the members of BSLC by assuring that the Church fulfills the Biblical functions of a church and achieves its mission while avoiding unacceptable actions and situations. They define the policies that the church follows, manages the church’s budget and expenses and work with church staff to develop policies to wisely steward the church’s resources.

When does the MLC meet? 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the La Vista Site.

Jen is a wife to Scott, and mom to Gabby, Jacob, Allie and Lauren. She works in Public Relations and enjoys writing for the Women's Ministry Blog and participating in the Church's Worship Ministry. She is serving as MLC President.


Jeanne Klinker

MLC Vice President

Jeanne Klinker, husband is Mark. We have 3 married sons and 5 grandchildren. I'm a retired teacher from Papillion La Vista Schools. I am a Stephen Minister and chair of Embrace Teachers, Omaha. We have been members for over 40 years.

Matt Troutman

MLC Treasurer

My name is Matt Troutman. My wife Laura and I have 4 children, Luke (8), Anna (6), Lydia (6), and Isaiah (18 months). Our family has attended Beautiful Savior for 10 years. I work in the billing department of Children's Hospital and I enjoy camping and canoeing.

Rob Latimer

MLC Secretary

Rob Latimer and his wife, Tammy, have been members at BSLC for he past 7.5 years. Both Rob and Tammy have a passion for missions and service work. They enjoy a variety of worship opportunities at BSLC, including the NW site with possible. They have two adult sons completing University and a Junior in High School. Rob works in Community Relations for a major energy company and enjoys the sport of ice curling in Omaha.

Andy Kloeckner

MLC Member

Any and his wife, Carla, have two elementary-aged children, Drew and Addison. Andy is a partner at Baird Holm Law Firm in Omaha and practices in the area of Health Law. The Kloeckner family regularly attends the 9:30 a.m. service and thoroughly enjoys participating in their Life Group.

Doneta Doehling

MLC Member

Doneta is blessed to be a member of BSLC since 1981. "I am God’s child. Encourager. Prayer warrior. Lover of coffee. Favorite music is praise, classical, choral and jazz. Watches PBS (no cable for me). Listens to Prairie Home Companion and oh yes in these days of texting and email I am the sender of cards. "


Shelli Muldoon

MLC Member

Shelli and husband, Mark, are longtime members of BSLC, parents to adult children living in the Omaha area, and grandparents to Luke. Employed at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, she develops and delivers programs to aid the sales organization. At church, she has helped in the prayer, childrens and women's ministries.

Tom Pflug

MLC Member

Tom and his wife Dorothy have been involved in youth and family ministry at Beautiful Savior for many years. They have four adult children and one grandson. Tom works as an investment advisor. In his spare time, he enjoys having fun with Dorothy, Bible study, and flying.

Terry Nathan

MLC Member

Terry has been a Beautiful Savior member for 25+ years. Her day job is working in financial reporting at HDR, Inc. Enjoyments include family/friend events, running, biking, hiking, Husker volleyball and home renovations.
